Hon. Olabisi Akintewe Elongate (born November 25, 1972) is a Nigerian politician, entrepreneur, and grassroots mobilizer. He is best known for his progressive leadership in local government politics and his long-standing affiliation with several political parties, including the Grassroots Democratic Movement (GDM), Alliance for Democracy (AD), Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), and the All Progressives Congress (APC), which he joined in 1996.

🏛️ Early Life and Education

Olabisi Akintewe Elongate was born in Ondo Town, Nigeria. He began his education at St. Jonbosco Primary School and completed his secondary education at St. James Secondary School in 1990.
He later pursued higher education at Kwara State Polytechnic, Westerville, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration in 2018.

💼 Career

Before venturing fully into politics, Akintewe worked as a building contractor and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Living Structure System Ltd, a construction and development firm.

Akintewe’s political journey began in 1996, when he joined the Grassroots Democratic Movement (GDM). Over the years, he transitioned through several political parties aligned with progressive ideologies, including AD, AC, ACN, and eventually APC.

In 2003 he was elected as party ward and later in ACN party and also local government party executive members as a treasurer in Lagos State, where he played a critical role in community-based leadership and empowerment initiatives.

By 2023, he was elected as Ward Executive (ESCO) under the Alliance for Democracy (AD) platform, further consolidating his influence in grassroots politics.
